The rain is wrecking havoc on traffic. Leaving the office at 6pm also contributes I suppose, but really, I'd rather face a gazillion insane KL-motorists than my PC screen and Microsoft Excel.

C'mon....did you even have to ask?

Pangkor Laut Resort was very nice. Not cheap by any means but it was worth it (always easy to say when you're not the one footing the bill :D). Service was excellent and its a great place to relax and .....shag.

The night sky was ablaze with stars. I even saw a shooting star, at which I promptly wished for my poker money back. My colleague had unbelievable luck.

Christmas '07 Roast Fowl. Decoration already included.

Despite my initial hesitation, the trip turned out pretty fun. It's nice to see the human side of the office. And in a neutral zone like a beach resort, its all bets off, no one is sacred from teasing and good-natured insulting. Ah.....felt so good to just take random jibes at colleagues. Lord, its starting to sound like I work in a convent.

The quieter beach front of the Spa Village

The trip can be divided into two key segments, sorta like history. There is Pangkor Before Poker, and Pangkor After Poker. A.P was when everyone started to open up and really bond. Tis marvelous what magic illicit gambling can weave.

Stairway to heaven. No, not really. More like the long, winding pathway to one of the 9 restaurants on the resort.

The infinity pool where I napped in the water and pickled myself into a Sunsweet Prune

By that measure, Pangkor time can also be divided into Pangkor Before Batteries Death and Pangkor After Batteries Death. Which occurred right after I shot this picture.

Hence, the pictures stop here.
